How we did the small lights near the girl

  • as you can see there are several white dots moving near the girl on the lighted paths given by the pictures. We will explain just one of the effects because they all have the same structure
  • in the picture above you can see the Timeline and the Stage inside the Movie Clip
  • the first layer is a Guide that contains a the path witch the dot has to follow (that path is a curved line)
  • under the Guide we have another layer (Guided) with the dot; actually the dot is a small movie clip (can be a small white circle for example)
  • we placed the dot in the first frame on one end of the Guide and on the other end in frame 10 and we created a Tween Motion between these frames
  • on the Properties Panel select Orient to Path and the dot will follow the desired path (it also without selecting Orient to Path if the dot is on the path given by the Guide in the first and last frame but don't forget, the layer has to be guided)
  • use the same idea for the last of the moving dots and place all the resulting Movie Clips on the first frame
